Through the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) Head Start program, students have the opportunity to access the university experience. If a subject is completed both their secondary and tertiary education is credited. This can result in direct entry into undergraduate courses.
Flexi School is authorised to offer subsidised places in the USQ Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP), which can also lead to direct entry into undergraduate courses.
Tertiary Preparation Program
Year 12 students enrolled at Toowoomba Flexi School are eligible to participate in a bridging course, enabling entry into USQ. This program is called the Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP) and is designed to give students the skills to succeed as a student no matter what level of education has been achieved in the past. The places offered in the program are fee-free and upon successful completion a place in an undergraduate program is guaranteed.
