The Enrolment Process
The Toowoomba Flexi School is a campus of Centenary Heights State High School, and is a responsive environment providing young people with an opportunity to engage in senior education. The program is designed to offer educational pathways for young people in Year 10, 11 & 12 whose needs are not being met by traditional mainstream school for a variety of reasons. The program specifically supports the whole young person through our wellbeing program, work skills, vocational and academic educational programs. Our overall aim is to assist young people to successfully transition to work, further study and to become confident young adults ready to be active members of the wider community by tailoring a program to meet the individual needs of students designed to achieve a QCE pathway. Toowoomba Flexi school is first and foremost a school and all young people looking to enrol must be willing to demonstrate their capacity to be a learner.
We welcome enrolment enquiries and accept Expressions of Interest for our school throughout the year. If you are interested in an enrolment at Flexi please complete the Expression of Interest by completing all sections of the form. To ensure your application is considered when we are completing an enrolment intake ensure the additional documentation listed below is returned with the completed Expression of Interest Form.

Expressions of Interest forms and supporting documentation (most recent Report Card and Mental Health Care Plan if applicable) will not be accepted at the Flexi Office.
Important Dates
Whilst we do welcome enrolment enquires and accept Expressions of Interest forms throughout the academic school year we do not accept rolling starts.
The following intake dates apply for each year level:
- Year 10 Intake: at the beginning of the academic school calendar year and Semester 2 intake (January and July of each year)
- Year 11 Intake: at the beginning of the academic school calendar year and the end of Unit 1 and/or Unit 2 intake (January, May and July of each year)
- Year 12 Intake: September of Year 11 and after this period by negotiation
Note
Toowoomba Flexi School has a capped enrolment of young people in years 10, 11 & 12 and a significant wait list. In order to be considered for an enrolment a completed Expression of Interest form and supporting documentation must be submitted.
Flexi cannot guarantee that all students that apply will be offered a place due to the growing demands for alternative school programs and specific level of need of the student. Flexi may not have the resources to cater to the educational needs of the student, or the student may pose an unacceptable risk to the safety of other students.
If enrolment capacity is reached in a particular year level, students will be placed on a waiting list.
The collection, use and disclosure of information about the student is protected by the School's Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be obtained from our website.
