ANZAC Day is a special one at Flexi, and we’re always so proud of the way our students participate in commemorating the brave men and women, past and present, who gave their lives to protect our nation.
At this year’s ANZAC Day service, Melissa, Jysaiah and Jared in particular, showed great community spirit, leadership and acknowledgment to our national day of remembrance. These young people represented the Flexi Campus of Centenary Heights State High School, at the 2019, Citizens’ Wreath Laying Service, held at the Mothers’ Memorial. Jared honoured his great-grandfather, wearing his medals and laying a wreath with his peers.
It is wonderful to see our Australian youth continue to remember the sacrifices of others that were made to ensure the freedoms they enjoy.
Lest we forget.
